Professor Edmund Chang's Talk on Weather and Climate Science
We were delighted by the visit of Professor Edmund K. M. Chang from Stony Brook University on Friday, 10th November 2017. Professor Chang, an alumnus, spoke to our F.4 and F.5 students about careers in weather and climate science.

Professor Chang graduated from St. Paul’s College in the late 1970s, pursued his undergraduate studies in physics at The California Institute of Technology, and completed his master’s in astrophysics and doctorate in atmospheric and oceanic sciences at Princeton University. Professor Chang was one of the four SoMAS professors, who, as members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore.

At the end of the talk, three editors of the Student Publications Council had the honour of interviewing Professor Chang about his time at St. Paul’s College, his studies and his career.
