Louie Wu and Adrian Choi appointed as UNICEF Young Envoys

Congratulations to Wu Lut Yin Louie (6B) and Choi Hong Chun Adrian (5E) for being named UNICEF Young Envoys at the appointment ceremony held by UNICEF at CitiWalk II, Tsuen Wan, on 9th September 2018.

The two students were presented with the certificates by Mrs. Bonnie Li, a Council Member of UNICEF Hong Kong. Vice Principal Mr. Wong Wai Hou, and two teachers, Ms Cheng Sau Chee and Mr. Wong Wai Kiu, also attended the ceremony to share their joy and pride in their achievements.

To receive the honorable title of “Young Envoys” from UNICEF, Louie and Adrian had to complete a rigorous 10-month training programme, which included a leadership training camp, workshops, and community service projects for local children. Their outstanding performance enabled them to enter the last stage of training, which involved field visits to Manila and Sichuan. During the two visits, which were held in July and August respectively, Louie and Adrian had first-hand experience of how UNICEF is positively impacting the lives of children in rural villages.

Now as UNICEF Youth Envoys, Louie and Adrian are tasked with the responsibility of promoting and advocating children's rights both at school and in our community.
