Peer Mentors' Summer Training: Mental Health First Aid Certificate Course

The emotional wellbeing of our students is one of the top priorities of the College. We seek to promote a positive culture of wellbeing among our students.

To this end, 37 Form 4 peer mentors of the Guidance Club have completed a 12-hour course leading to the Mental Health First Aid Certificate, which is acknowledged by the Mental Health First Aid International.

The course, held on 2 and 5 August 2021, was conducted by the accredited trainer, Mr. Kelvin Ng, from the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society. School social worker Dominic Li also provided support in the training.

Peer support plays an integral role in fostering a positive sense of wellbeing on campus. We trust that our well-trained peer mentors will work collaboratively with all our teachers in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all Paulines in the new school year.
