Christmas Carolling @SPC

After an extended hiatus, Christmas Carolling was brought back to SPC on the last day of formal classes by the English Department and English Society!

The English Department and English Society came together to host this wonderful event for the F1s, with our new College Chaplain, Reverend Shazz Turnquest as Father Christmas and his helpers going to each F1 classroom singing Christmas songs and spreading happiness and cheer. To further highlight this special event during our 170th anniversary year, a significant part of the snack treats was generously donated by SPC alumni Mr. Chow (1990) and his wife, as a way to warmly welcome and support the newest members to the SPC family and community, from one alumni and family to another.

Thank you all who came together to join us for the festive cheer and carolling! This event was made successful not only with the help from our English teachers and student helpers from both the English Society and the Prefect Team, but with new teachers Mr. Tom Dunne and Miss Fedoris Tse, both from the Mathematics Department as well as our Principal Mr. Dennis Yuen and Assistant Vice Principal Mr. Alex Wong. Last but certainly not least, Mrs. Ellen Zai and her fabulous Publicity Team for helping us take many wonderful photos and a video documenting this festive event and school spirit that has been reawakened to show our newest members at SPC what it truly means to be at an all-boys’ school.

From the extensive family at SPC, we would like to extend our warmest welcome to our newest members and we hope that you will all have a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
