Our Venture Scout TSE Shing-ho Timson (5C) has just received the "Scout of the Year 2013” Shoulder Cord from the Secretary of Education Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim on 10 May 2014.  Timson is the eleventh “Scout of the Year” of the 10th Hong Kong Scout Group since it was first held in 1987.   Currently, the Group has the most “Scout of the Year” among all Scout Groups in Hong Kong. 







Below is the greeting from our Principal to Timson during the presentation ceremony:

"Scouting is far more than a recreational activity.  Scouting is a way of life.  A scout displays all the qualities we would hope to see in a young person; loyal, trustworthy, responsible, resilient, dedicated and honourable.  Tse Shing Ho has displayed all these qualities as a scout and I congratulate him whole-heartedly on being named Scout of the Year 2013.  This award is a wonderful accolade and the culmination of his many years of service to the 10th Hong Kong Group and to the scout movement in general.  Congratulations indeed!" --Dr Kennard
