During the Season of Creation 2024, our College's green and sustainability initiatives highlight the importance of protecting our planet. We recognize there is no PLANET B, but there are plenty of PLANS for progress. These efforts are integral to our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan and reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship, inspired by the Five Marks of Mission of the Anglican Communion.
Commissinoing Environmental Ambassadors: Archbishop Andrew Chan appointed 'environmental ambassadors' from various sectors, including our school, to emphasize global stewardship and the integrity of creation. We are dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship, drawing inspiration from the Five Marks of Mission.
Engaging Educational Talks: We hosted engaging talks by KFBG for Form 1 and Form 2 on “Exploring Reptiles and Biodiversity,” and for Form 3, Form 4, and Form 5 on “Understanding Collaborative Conservation & Education.” As a member of the Global Schools Program UN SDSN, we aim to ignite a passion for conservation in our students.
Celebrating International Peace Day: Our Student Sustainability Society organized activities promoting harmony and sustainability, culminating in the signing of The TASS Charter. The Ambassadors led initiatives such as recycling games and environmental education sessions, raising awareness among peers and SPCPS Primary Six students.
