English Debate Team Reaches Sing Tao Grand Final

Congratulations to our English Debate Team on advancing to the Grand Finals of the 40th Sing Tao Inter-School Debating Competition!

Yesterday, our team defeated the reigning champions, DBS, in a close semifinal match by a vote of 2:1.

After five rigorous elimination rounds, they will go on to take the stage at Queen Elizabeth Stadium on 7 May, marking a proud return to the finals for the first time in 10 years!

We are extremely proud of our dedicated stage debaters, shadow debaters for mock debates, and behind-the-scenes researchers for their hard work and seamless collaboration — and, in particular, the semifinal team:

Team Captain: Yeh Ka Hei Jeremy (5B);
1st Speaker: Tse Shing Yau Samuel (4B);
2nd Speaker: Wong Pak Yin Jacky (4B).

Special appreciation also goes to our teacher advisors, Mr. W. I. Yu and Mr. A. Jolly, for their expert guidance and unwavering support.
