The 29th Annual General Meeting of the SPC PTA

Last Saturday, the St. Paul's College Parent Teacher Association held its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the school hall.

After offering a warm welcome to the parents and teachers in attendance, Mr. Johnny C.Y. Li, Chairman of the SPCPTA, presented a summary on the PTA activities held during the academic year 2021-22. Despite the pandemic restrictions, the PTA successfully organised all its planned events and activities, including seminars, workshops (e.g. a joint-school workshop with the King's College PTA), a family picnic and a campus volunteer service day. There were also parent-sharing sessions and special activities in celebration of the College's 170th anniversary.

Mr. Li concluded his report by showing a video, which captured the tender moments of our boys and their parents sweating and working together to repair and repaint chairs and railings on campus.

For the first time, the election of the four new PTA committee members was conducted electronically, with the voting completed prior to the AGM. The election results were announced during the meeting.

Towards the end of the AGM, the Principal presented certificates to the committee members and other parent volunteers in appreciation of their contributions over the past academic year.

We look forward to a strong partnership with the PTA, as well as all our parents, for the success of our students.
