Students' Association kicks off the calender year with Affiliated Club Enrolment

On 20 October, the school hall was buzzing with excitement, as many of our school clubs and students took part in the Students’ Association (SA) Affiliated Club Enrolment.

As co-curriculum is a vital part of the SPC’s educational experience, the SA provided the school clubs with an opportunity to introduce and promote themselves to eager Paulines. This year, as many as 35 school clubs set up stalls to attract new members.

The club leaders came up with a dazzling variety of ways to pitch their clubs to their schoolmates. In particular, the Chinese Calligraphy Club, the Rubik’s Cube Club, the Fitness Club, the Music Game Club and the Magic Club stood out from the crowd. They held fun interactive games, hands-on taster activities and stunning demonstrations for the students who came to visit. A number of students from Forms 1 and 2 jumped at the opportunity and signed up for their favourite clubs on the spot digitally!

Now that the full-day school time-table is in place, the SA, the club advisors and the student-led committees are all looking forward to running as many events and activities as possible throughout the year to enrich the school life of every Pauline.
